World Aluminium Aerosol Can Awards for Grand Tongo and Adidas cans

Continuing the streak of global acclaim for our unique, sustainable metal packaging designs, we are proud to announce the success of two of our products in the World Aluminium Aerosol Can Awards 2024.

Organized by the International Organisation of Aluminium Aerosol Container Manufacturers (AEROBAL), the World Aluminum Aerosol Can Awards honors the best and most innovative aluminum aerosol cans in the world.

In the “Sustainability” category, Trivium Packaging Brazil’s can for Adidas and the Champions League, licensed by Coty Global, was recognized for its eco-friendly materials and production. The ‘Best of the Best’ deodorant is stored in an infinitely recyclable aluminum aerosol can created with 25% recycled materials. The aluminum alloy used to create the can is also produced with renewable energy and uses 50% less internal varnish to cut down on carbon emission rates.

Trivium Packaging USA also won in the “Aluminium aerosol cans already on the market” category with its aluminum can design for insect repellent brand, Grand Tongo. For this design, Trivium utilizes a bag-on-valve continuous spray technology, allowing for zero-waste, complete emptying of the container, whereas aerosol or other spray technologies only empty about 95%. The design of the can also utilizes a twist-lock cap to prevent accidental discharge and waste.

The winners of the World Aluminium Aerosol Can Awards 2024 were selected by an international jury of trade journalists from leading can and packaging magazines, underscoring Trivium’s prevalence and continued success in the aluminum packaging market.
